Mariage D'Amour (Marriage of Love):

The "perfect" person, well-qualified in resume.
One whom parents and friends would want to spend their days

A wonderful personality so does seem.
A promising career so does deem

And in quiet ways, they say that "perfect" person would sure to yield
To all your wants and wishes, that "perfect" person would have sealed
Them all with love and kindness....or so they tell
That if you fall in love, that "perfect" person would surely... be under your every spell

They all loved that person then...How could they not?
The "perfect" one indeed, they would sure to spot

They all loved that person...But then...could...you?
And convince yourself to be forever with that someone...And say, "I do"?

And spend your life together, in blissful matrimony?...
Or...only in a marriage of...practicality...

And so your heart desires more and more each day
And then you flee...and leave all that may

Knowing in your heart...that it wasn't meant to be
That that "perfect" person would very well be best with another. And another may just see...
that that person is but kind and good....but just not...to and for....me

And so you give it all up...wondering which road was best?...
To be practical...or put your heart's yearning to its test

Is it better to be in a marriage of practicality and not ask more?....
Or...perhaps....continue your search for a MARRIAGE OF LOVE...and let your heart so soar?...

A MARRIAGE OF LOVE....such that the heart is full, and the emptiness will disappear
And gone are all your worries, trepidations, fears

So...the wait for a MARRIAGE OF LOVE, how long would you so wait?
And only dream of "the one" being brought one day...by Fate?

But only in your dreams

You shall know...

That when that person arrives

You shall know...

That in the arms of "the one"...you shall be complete and whole
And in a MARRIAGE OF LOVE...two solitary hearts shall converge into...one soul

yeah... the pedal makes the notes sound wayyyyyy too rich in this one.

Sorry, not to offend you or your piano but you should release the pedal at a little bit.

  • Lindo adorei!

Voce arece um anjo tocando piano!

Beautiful loved it! You look like an angel playing the piano!

  • Are you playing this piece on a Yamaha C3? Sounds beautiful my dear. I hope to hear more of your playing soon.

  • most excellent, thank you

  • I love to read her text (scribble-scrabbles, she wrote) for each song. Well, deep thoughtful for her age. Well done.

  • she is awesome but I think on this piece it is a little slow.

  • the sustainance pedal sounds muddled..

heartBtrue is a wonderful talented musician and poet, her wonderful thoughts and poems about life are to be found underneath if you click the 2 chevrons on the right underneath the video,

If you read her channel page, she will explain that has decided to go into a sort of hibernation from youtube .She has her own personal reasons, which she explains there and also perhaps wishes to take her energies and kind nature to go towards other pathways in her life. She is missed so much !

  • HearBTrue: Your music is as beautiful as the person. This is also one of my favorite pieces by Richard Clyderman. Please accept my video response!

    Thank you.
