First and foremost, John Lee Hooker never made mistakes, make sure that you understand this! He could shit on stage and it would be exactly the way he wanted to. This cat is irreproachable when it comes to the blues!

Well I don't think its so different from the original one. Besides Blues basicly changes every day. He would play the songs in one way and the next day play it completly different and even the lyrics change.
But you're right about the guitar. Luckily its just the first few seconds.
