This will show you how to add sounds to specific keyframes in 3ds max 2010. It is useful for previews of weapon animations.
The reason I used max 2010 was because it already has the ProSound thingy built in.

I don't have a microphone so just watch.
Also I rendered the video wrong so its all squished but you can still view it fine.

  • I can't add more then 1 sound! I dont get that big dialog.. i just get the small one..you did at first! please help!

  • Try going to: Customize-Preferences -Animation than on the sound plug-in choose ProSound.

  • @Foozxl I did, and I tried to double click..

is there something else I could do wrong?

    thx

  • Are you sure you are using max 2010. If you are i'm really not sure how to fix it.

  • Thanks, this video helped alot.

  • yeahhh counter strike source

  • Can you add voices with sony vegas?

  • @Foozxl I've also got the same problem, I'm using max 2011 which is basically the same setup, my primary sound plays, however the "triggering" sound right before the main wave file is activated seem to get ignored.

  • thanks !!!

  • can you send me hands with textures?
