Oh- just remembered this.
Have you seen Willian Shatner lately? He always has beautiful pieces, but what he has now is phenomenal.
It's got "natural" color, which is very natural and LIGHT. With it there's a perfect amount of grey mixed in.
It's also rather short and very appropriately thin. NOT too thin, but you can see his head through it (intentionally).
I know it's prob. very expensive but just thought I'd suggest checking him out.

I was just going to say these exact things.
Rugman, it would look fantastic if you were to have the color match your own grey color. Not 100% grey if you don't want, but substantially.
And yes, it really needs to be less dense.
Honestly I'd try someone else: If your stylist/maker isn't suggesting these things then I have a big problem with him/her.

@RUGMAN77 An honest opinion is I think your natural hair round the sides and back has thinned as the years have passed. Your toupee hair is much thicker, so trying to get a good match is difficult. I'd go for a much lighter density if I were you. :)

41 years on wig... nice... let us hope a year from now you celebrate your first year of being a Democrat... :)
I'd like to know if you have ever considered going to a really good toupee maker, like Farrell. Apparently his toupees are unspottable. They cost a lot but I'd love to see you wearing one. He's from your part of the world, too.

@Planetoxo THanks for the comment. I have heard of Farrell, but he is not exactly in my part of the world. He's basically in California, I'm in Pennsylvania. Whats your opinion of how I look?? Honest opinion!
