MQ Nissan Patrol. The major majority of vehicles in the Alpine Challenge (and a lot of the off road comps like it) are very highly modified Patrols (stupidly hotted up alloy Chev V8's mostly) as they are a great platform to mod from and there is heaps of race quality gear avail. straight off the shelf. If you get a chance, go check out the Alpine in Vic's High Country, it's the best comp to view as the spec points are all really close together and you can easily move between them on each day.

Sorry mate, I buggered up with the model, it's a GQ, not a MQ. About mid-late 90's is right though.
