next take a look at how they sit males will have there chest up and tail out females have there heads down low and tail curled up to protect eggs very easy to tell the difference even in a hole as long as ya know wht ya looking for as for couch diver far from it mate stopped logging dives at 500 and that was ten yrs ago and dive at least 1 or 2 times a week next april may when back in berry have a closer look at the ceay body positioning maybe you will work it out
