How to read the Bible? Like it's a love letter to you!

If you had a son who went away to war and wrote you a letter. But before he could make it home, he was killed. Wouldn't you want the letter? And wouldn't you read it? And wouldn't you read it again? And no matter how long it was wouldn't you read the whole thing? And read it again? Sadly the statistics show that only 10% of professing Christians have bothered to read the Bible from cover to cover. If someone died for you wouldn't you read the letter they sent to you? Jesus Died on the cross to pay for your sins and came to show you how to live. He sent you a letter and it is the Bible. Read it!
We in America need to get back to reading thw Word of God and following Jesus.
