When I was a kid I thougth he was a boring old guy, but then after the election I saw him on TV and he cracked me up I thought OMG he should be president. Now I am older and I really like him

Whenever I think of of Bob Dole, I think of his dry & acerbic humor, & his prairie twang: "Thaank yuh veery muuch!"

Dole got in a couple OK jokes there, but did not reach the level of his 1995-96 Letterman appearances. You should hunt up the Letterman episode where Dole comes on with lots of great jokes & a Top Ten list of ways to cut the budget, including consolidating N & S Dakota into one state, & replacing lengthy (& costly in terms of ink) "William Jefferson Clinton" signature on government documents, with "Bob Dole."

When he said "I like Al Gore, he is a decent man" I almost expected him to say "There is no reason to be scared of Al Gore as President". Boy, how times have changed. I miss those good old times when we didn't care about politics that much.
