Deficit finance a Liberal 'contribution' to Canada and one knows that Ignatieff if elected will blame the present deficit on the Tories while spending like wildfire.

the GST cut was meant to decrease prices and stimulate demand. but it's so insignifant compared to other demand determinants that it the benefit, if there was any, is totally insignifant. Big business may have profited somewhat from this as you mention, small business most certainly didn't win anything at all.

It's a messy situation, but it's all the way over there. It has nothing to do with us, or Ignatieff, so stop trying to use it as ammunition to try to smear it on him.
We have our own problems. If they want to be thick headed over there, that's their problem.
