BIO...

An amateur, solo artist.
I began writing and playing songs as
a teenager at Rangitoto College
on Auckland's North Shore.

Surrounded by a close-knit group of
talented friends, a number of various bands
where formed. One of which was 'Power Beef'
consisting of three friends, disillusioned
with the uncertainty of our futures.
S. Johnson - Base/Vocals,
R. Fischer - Guitar/Vocals
and our multi talented, dear friend on Drums...
C. Hampson who died recently much to all of our dismay.

Alto Rhythm as is a collaboration
of Raw tunes from the 'Games Room',
old songs by Power Beef and new songs
by S. Johnson, none of which have ever been recorded.

Capturing the old magic without my
other two good friends is now out of reach,
but whether considered good or bad, these
songs have been performed and recorded in memory of
and as a tribute to, one of the best and dearest friends
