  • Please write to Brookstone and demand that they stop selling "Frog-O-Spheres." Don't shop at Brookstone and urge your family to do the same. Hopefully they will get the message that this sort of cruelty is unacceptable.

  • Wow!! seriously??? Selling animals an shipping them!! REeally?!!! WTH?!?!?!!

  • @annchalee79 I'd blame both really. I'd say the majority of these are sold to kids who don't know any better. Basically they are teaching children it's OK to treat animals like s**t.

  • That happened to me my first frog died the day I got it and was shipped in a small plastic bag like so with warmers in it like what the heck brookstone?

  • you dont ship live animals you go to the store and buy them

  • @alwyshp shipping animals is very normal. All hobbyists do it.

  • this is stupid. that sucks that his frog died but the frogs never should have been packaged like that in the first place. its the idiots fault who packaged them. i work at brookstone and usually the bag is filled up halfway with water, they gotta package and ship them somehow!!

  • My daughter got a Frog-O-Sphere for Christmas. Our frogs were delivered on the coldest day in Florida with a heating pad way down at the bottom of the box...wasn't doing them much good. I got them in and we've had them almost two weeks and they seem to be adjusting much better...but I'm not real happy with their "environment" Seems too small...and they didn't send the snail. Hopefully, they will survive - if not, they won't be replaced.

  • y would they give the little guy half an inch of water

  • awful. That's all that needs to be said

  • So I was pretty sure that Brookstone is a store that sells overpriced crap that no one really wants or needs. Now I know that they also sell animal cruelty in a 'convenient' box. I don't blame the company as so much as the people buying the frog-o-sphere. It's the same people that have no respect or regard for our beautiful ecosystem and the animals(yes even amphibians) that habitat it. For shame.

  • I can't believe people buy these. Money is what makes this cycle continue. How many animals need to die like this?
