Albertine Gifty Badio- Daddy (poem)

[[twitter @EnvyMyShine ]] I dedicate this to all the people that grew up with out a father && some, like me, that are still growing up with out one. I knew that sometimes it takes a while to understand how it effects you. It didnt really hit me until now, when im about to turn 16. so I hope this is a good refection of the emotions that people in the situation feel. -Xoxo. Thanks for watching . Live Easy.

@teenumber4 thank you ! & you are right. but i believe that because so many kids in my generation had to grow up without a father, we wont allow the cycle to continue. i honestly believe that.

@LiamBerryTea it literally just came to me at around 5am when i couldnt sleep. i would probably say it look about 10 to 15 mins to get the final draft .

That was both sad and beautiful the same time. As long as your dad is still alive, there is a chance that he could come back around. Of course, reality is that he probably won't. The way I feel on that is, it has to stop somewhere. That's where you take it upon yourself to teach your son differently and demand better from his father. You make a vow to end the cycle. Stay strong!!
