Bron-Yr-Aur by Jimmy Page/Led Zeppelin (from "The Song Remains The Same"). It *is* in the movie, but if you're not paying attention, you'll probably miss it!

I recorded this in the kitchen back in about 1992 on cassette tape... I was very fortunate to be able to recover it in halfway decent condition because, I no longer know how to play this piece. Anyway, cassettes were very "noisy" and I worked very hard to clean up the signal. Adding a touch of reverb helped restore some of the timbre NR takes out. The guitar is a 1962 Takamine folk guitar (the label is dated). The story goes that it was owned by "beach bum" in California who had strung it with steel strings. Long story short: the guitar was (better than) restored by Randy Barrow at Tim's Guitar Workshop (Baton Rouge, LA). I've owned it since about 1987/88. You'll have to pry it out of my cold dead hands...

  • I think you're right! I was just going by what i *remembered* the sheet music title was (about 17+ years ago.) I haven't seen it since that time... My mistake... name changed appropriately, I hope.
