A last Ski with Charlie Scanlon

Charlie passed away on the 6th of June 2009. I wanted to show a slice of life in a way of a day with Charlie.

This short film contains photos and clips from skiing the Angel slide on Wright Peak in the Adirondacks with Cam Holland and Charlie Scanlon. This weekend Jaunt was taken in February 2009 before Charlie traveled to Australia. It would be my last adventure with Charlie.
His energy and love of venturing off into the woods was wonderfully encouraging and provided a beautiful way to spent time off campus.

Ive always thought you can really get at what a person is like while being in the woods, and Charlies enthusiasm towards living fully and pursuing his passions with vigor was evident while the snow fell on the side of Wright Peak.

He smiled so honestly and wonderfully before turning and bobbing down through that soft powder, an image that will always stick with me.

I will miss him greatly and am thankful for the time I was able to spend with him.
