  • hey how come i dont see a mic on the amp?

  • It's a tube amp. It will naturally overdrive at high volumes. If you are gigging and need a very clean tone you have to go with more watts.

  • @surfboy7 Would a mic help?

  • Alright cheese feet, why can't we hear your demo? Is there some wacky copyrights issue? SHEESH !!

  • To everyone having problem with their audio: When he starts playing, the editor is (idk why, stupid thing to do) changing the stereosignal to mono, and only playing it on the right side. the problem might be that you are just hearing the left side on your headset or speakers or whatever, just try to change the configuration on your computers audio tool, and it might help =) And to PVElectronics: keep the signal stereo all the time please...

  • 13 ppl cant afford this amp..

  • This guy looks exactly like Danny McBride...

  • @jdaviddixon1 It did the same for me but then I plugged in some headphones and it worked! Idk why haha, but yea hope that helps.

  • Brought home a Classic 30 a couple of weeks ago.Still feeling it out but am quite pleased so far.You can get some nice distortion on the drive channel at fairly low volumes.I did put some reissue Mullard EL84's in and switched the AX7's to vintage USA stuff. The stock blue marvel speaker is performing well enough.

  • @jdaviddixon1 I think the guitar and voice are panned left and right. Maybe your computer is only working from one side.

  • I know this comment is over a year old, this is just for the benefit of everyone else.

In Response to surfboy7's comment, you do not need need any more watts,

Increasing the wattage to 100 would only make the amp 15% louder, an extra speaker, or even just using a more efficient speaker would have a more significant volume increase.

For live purposes it would be best to just mic it.

A 100w amp is only 50% louder than a 10w amp with the same speaker.

  • @ppericodelosppalotes It is probably the make and model of the tube that comes stock in the amp. Some will break up sooner thatn others. I have an EL84 amp that use regularly (Crate Vintage Club 50) and had the same problem until I retubed it with a set of Mullard EL84s. They break up a LOT sooner and do it in a very smooth way. Now my 50 watt starts to sound like AC/DC at around 4-5 on the master
