A video demo of the Fender FM 212R. No pedals besides footswitch. Guitar used 2007 MIM Fender Telecaster. The video is longer but I cut off the last minute of commentary. Overall a good amp for those seeking a loud inexpensive amp. It takes pedals very well and would serve as a good base for multi effects or pedals, essentially think of it as a good clean amp with a optional OD. I've had the amp for 2 years and it's held up during gigs and lots of jams. Also one not I'm not the best guitarist in the world, there are plenty of mistakes, I'm sorry I'm working on it!
Also just to say it again the FM 212R is the older version of the Frontman 212R, they both should sound the same because the new Frontman were only changed cosmetically to look like a Fender Twin Reverb
Now with all that said, the amp was a gift from my significant other and I couldn't have asked for anything better, it's a great solid amp with a usable overdrive and a great clean channel, perfect for my styles (Ska,Punk, Reggae)

  • @TheButtpaste69 Thanks man!

  • i already know these are good amps and i know alot about em. i just havent owned one. would it be good for an eric johnson type sound? i can always run my pedals through it. i have an OCD pedal witch would do good i think. you think eric johnson tones are good on it?

  • @chrispouliot65 I don't really listen to Eric Johnson, so I'm not the best authority on his tone. However I think you'll like running the OCD pedal through this amp, it's pretty transparent so you'll hear the pedal. I would suggest playing one in a guitar center or something. Then you can decide for yourself.

  • @SkaJon does the amp get nice rock and metal sound

  • @deathafi This amp isn't the best at metal, I would recommend checking Randall and Peavey amps if that's what you are looking for. Thanks for watching!
