Printing Changes at UTA

With service changes by the Office of Information Technology being launched this fall students will no longer have the preloaded $100 of printing money on their account, and will instead pay for printing as it's needed. According to a May 2010 report by the university, an estimated 80 percent of students own or have access to a laptop. This fall, two general-purpose computer labs will be renovated and upgraded to create more workspaces for laptop users and student projects, and five areas around campus will be renovated to create more ideal spaces for students to use their laptops.
