Any Other Name (American Beauty) - Cover

My cover of Any Other Name by Thomas Newman from the American Beauty soundtrack.
I use the Nord Stage 2 for the piano sound (Bright Grand Piano), and the pad.
The Strings come from Eastwest Symphonic Orchestra Gold and are controlled with the Nord Stage 2.

Do you not like the strings loaded in the NS2 or in the Nord Sample Library?

@tvseal0001 No but between Eastwest and the Nord samples, Eastwest is much more realistic.

@enyrismusicFR Oh ok. It would be awesome if you could demo some of the Nord strings samples and brass samples so I could see what they sound like. Also the recording sounds amazing! What's your setup?

@tvseal0001 I haven't the Nord Stage 2 anymore, I have replaced it by a Roland RD700NX, but you can hear some démo on the Nord website.

@tvseal0001 Because for me the RD700NX pianos are better than the Nord Stage 2 ones, and the key touch of the RD is one of the best, much more realistic than the Fatar touch of the Stage 2 88.

@enyrismusicFR Wow...well honestly I think the NS2 sounds more like a natural piano where as the Roland sounds like a piano that's been mixed. Also I've tried the Roland RD700NX and I thought it felt very plasticy, but then again, I did not mess with the velocity / touch sensitivity.
