I remember it well - Mac Davis' appearance on The Muppet Show that is; I was very young and saw it with my mother. She didn't know who Mac Davis was until he broke into song with Lake Hog-Frog, because Lord it's Hard to be Humble was regularly played on Terry Wogan's early morning radio show at the time - to which she was an avid listener!
