My first "completed" altered book. Started with a discarded library book, gessoed the pages, collaged or altered existing illustrations or text, or completely covered over, removed 25% of the original book pages to make space for collage thickness, Modge-Podged all pages and front and back cover.

  • Very impressive work, love the colors and textures. You have a lot of talent

  • @7icegoddess7 Thank you so much for viewing the video and leaving your compliment! :D

  • neat, do you sell these or keep them as a personal collection?

  • @JasmineJean89 . I might sell someday. What do you think a person might be willing to pay for a fully-altered collage book like this? Just curious.

  • hi

how do you keep the pages from sticking together? I use mod podge and sometimes the pages stick. I guess i need to know how long do i let the pages dry?

  • @LaSharown . This was the only book that I used Modge Podge on the pages, because I did not like that stickiness. Now that it's been a couple of years, the pages do seem to have "cured" but I don't think I'll be using Modge Podge anymore for inside pages. I've done a couple of books since then, and not used any finish at all on the inside pages.
