In September 2006, Acupuncturist Eli Jacobe
(Gloucester, Massachusetts, USA) took his
third trip to China for 2 weeks of training in
Qigong Theraputic Excercise at Dr. Wan
Su-Jian's Beijing Red Cross Medical Exchange
Institute in Beijing. [

m ] A classmate compiled this video from our
first day. It starts with her travel from Hawaii.
When the contingent from Hawaii joined the
rest of us from the continental USA, we
enjoyed a day of cultural immersion to start
our training. There were martial arts and qigong
(also spelled "chi kung") demonstrations,
calligraphy, tea ceremony, massage treatment,
a welcoming banquet, and a Taoist ritual.
Besides all the classes and workouts, the
program included time for travel to sacred
sites in Shanxi Province. You can find photo
links on my website. I studied again with
Master Wan in 2008 and 2009. I teach qigong
classes here in Gloucester, MA. The schedule is
posted on www.AtlanticAcupuncture.com.
