this was my first dead show long story short, , when i was on some bangin family L and i saw obama pop up ..i knew i was in for a trip!

How the F*** would Jerry be turning his grave? You really think if Jerry was alive today he would support a McCain/Palin ticket? Use your head man before you post stupid-ass shit that makes you look foolish. And that goes for all of you that are hating on the boys for doing these shows to raise awareness...great great rock bands have been doing that forever, it just happens to be the first time the Dead has. Man you old hippies need a life. Esp. the ones that are Republican...haha

The Dead (with Jerry as well) have always been on the Democratic side of the line. Is that a surprise to anyone? It's always been about the music anyway.
I think they are sounding great right now. Lots of energy. I will have to check them out on Spring Tour.

@biggie440 i'd pay that much to see them.....and why does it cut out right before they talk about getting raided? Did they play the whole song or did obama campaign not let them?

@tyikiki101 they played the whole song. actually, when they played they turned on the house lights at one point and they didn't skip a beat...kept right on playing. they jammed out for a while, it was a good show considering it was the first time playing together in a few years...
