Hey there Fastjimmy71, I'm fredachinnie64 from Lorain, Ohio, and this is my 67 Chevy Impala. It features opening suicide doors, jump seat style trunk deck lid covering the sound system in the trunk. The wheels have been color matched to add to the style. The interior is cover in real suede and black flocking. The colors I used are Krylon Gloss Black and Watermellon Pink. The chassis has been cleaned and painted to match. The dual exhaust are also scratch built from custom bent tubing. It took aroound 3 weeks to complete and was very fun to build. Thanks for stting up this contest so that all of us who share this hobby can show off some talent.

  • hey man cool model well i was wondering how u can put on sucide doors the hood to open the oppeside dirrection and the hood as well can u plz help out im building a 64 chevy impala lowrider

  • @jappy169

You need to go to your local hobby store or some craft and buy some plastic styrene tubing and also get some medium size paper clips from like a Wal-Mart! Cut the paper clip about an inch long and bend it to form a "L" shape. Then you need to bend the longer portion into a "U" shape so it will have enough space to open. A crimping plier works great. Cut your tubing to the size you want and glue into position. Check out some of Fastjimmy71 or Dr Cranky's videos for some ideas!!
