i think causeway ran his heart out that day2 very tough horses.

but i think if giants wasnt how he is he wouldnt of been up to this level its so good that he loves rally back

bigfred - they were both 3yo's in 2000..

Tiznow was a champion yes, but anyone who thinks that giants causeway was anything other than a fantastic racehorse needs their head reading.

also i dont agree that tiznow 'destroyed' the causeway or sakhee. he had to battle very hard to win both of these races..

both the euros did very very well running on dirt for the first time.. there'll never be another giants causeway, or tiznow.. they were both outstanding runners.. so lets give'm both credit ..

@longjack00 lol..how was he lucky? He did all the work and replused the challenge of the greatest horse in the world....he refused to lose...and would do it again next year...tiznow is the most unappreciated horse since affirmed..

I note in both races the European horse ran many lengths further than Tiznow by being significantly wider the whole race. Considering both were beaten by narrow (ish) margins I think victory was down to jockey trackcraft more than horse ability.

I'm not churlish, Tiznow was obviously a grat racehorse and a magnificent specimen.
