Begging is not cute... My Rottweiler does it and he's 10. It's not cute because whenever he begs my father gives whatever it is he's eating. That's such a bad habit, but really hard to avoid unless they only get food from their dish or your hand. My sister's rottie was a cereal fiend and once she got her nose in the bowl she thought all of them were hers. It also teaches them food left out is first dibs.
However, they are beautiful dals.
