This brings up an interesting point; many wouldn't treat fish with the same amount of compassion. some wouldn't eat dolphin or whale but would eat deer, horse, dog or poultry. Where do we draw the lines and why?
upon further thought, i don't agree. one should be careful about what they eat and when they eat it. one should consider under what conditions the food was raised. i agree in principle but not in practice.
@nippononna mammals in the ocean can't be eaten but a pig who can smile and be as happy to see you as a dog, can? You're a moron.

The Japanese eat and dress well and live in luxury too much enough without whale's & dolphin's meat.
We Japanese will NEVER be in trouble if we can't kill & eat whales & dolphins!
Japanese just want earn a lot of money by killing dolphins & whales.
And I think mammals in the ocean are NOT to be eaten!
The "line" is whether we are GREEDY or not.
