A ride on SEPTA's 5251. This is one of the fastest NABI's that SEPTA owns. 5251 is the only NABI to have and Luminator Horizon sign (orange LED) making this an oddball. This bus was built in 1996 by The North American Bus Industries, Model 416. 08 TA. The engine is a powerful Detroit Diesel Series 50 with an Allison B-400R-4 Speed transmission.

  • Nice video Kyle, i cant tell it's 5251 though, because its normal on the inside. SEPTA should make this bus have an ISL

  • Around the end of the video I moved to the middle of the bus and pointed the camera at the side sign. If you noticed the side sign is a alot thinner than the nabis with the green signs.

  • 18 to Cedarbrook Mall.

  • I was misunderstood, i meant that SEPTA should have put an ISL in this particular bus to make it stand out back when they first installed the display

  • They don't need to have their engine replaced with Cummins ISL, many of the 1996 models are being marched out as soon as more 2nd generation New Flyer hybrids arrive

  • Impressive The Orange LED is rare in NABI's

  • What route is this?
