Yes, Eastman House restored this film in 35 Millimeter, and the new print looks terrific. But as noted one reel is still lost. The movie actually Starred beautiful Corinne Griffith. Clara Bow was just starting out and had only been in the movies for a year. Griffith on the other had was a major, major Star and had been for some time. BLACK OXEN was the best selling book of the 1920's. Would love to see the restored print debut on TCM.

35mm was the original format.
16mm is the source of this.
A long standing rumor says Eastman in Rochester holds a complete 35mm print.
