This is the third and final video in my series on the modern myths surrounding the Council of Nicaea, as propagated by such groups as the Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons, books like the Da Vinci Code, and various pseudo-scholars and conspiracy theorists.

In this video, I cover only one myth:
Myth # 6 - After Nicaea, the Church was used as a tool for the political power of Rome, including justifying wars and atrocities

I conclude with a few ending notes; to summarize: don't be fooled by a bunch of modern charlatans like Acharya S and Peter Joseph who are only out to make a buck at the expense of our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ -- research every claim, including mine!

Here's the link to the promised list of all the primary documents from the Council of Nicaea; these are the documents written by people who were actually there or who knew people who attended -- these are the sources that historians and scholars have to work with when writing on the Council -- very important stuff here: http://piousfabrications.blogspot.com/2009/11/myths-of-council-of-nicaea.html

The script for this video is also located at the link above.

I hope that you've enjoyed this series. I've got a couple more videos on the Council coming, and then I'll delve into some more interesting topics. Stay tuned!

  • Excellent presentation & advise.

True advocacy of the faith & the mind.

While no thing is a limit to G-D, reason is more so subset of G-D's plan, than is the super phenomenal. So as you have faith in yourself and or Creator, first realize reason prevails 99.99% of the time, is verifiable & has commentary.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! +

  • Thank you very much!

  • I have no problem with an atheist telling me that the claims of Christianity (like the resurrection of Christ) seem a little too far fetched for them to believe, but to invent flaws in Christianity or use it as a scapegoat seems petty. If they wonder why the more educated Christians aren't abandoning the faith in droves, let this video series be a lesson as to why. We aren't the ones being fed with false information.

  • @Grrraig Can you name the six-hundred sixty-six books for us?

  • @drdilipabraham The poster is not a roman catholic.

  • Other than the fact that the person posting these videos have an obvious catholic bias, this was pretty fun to watch...Good job. Btw, an omnipotent divine being concerned with the souls of man wouldn't give a damn about these political manoeuvres about finer points of theology...He/she/it would be busy making new planets..

  • nice presentation.all this info can be easily googled is not some rare info but ppl do not care for the truth . The Pope officially apologised for the 1200AD crusades that destroyed Byzantine empire in 2005 (i m not sure about the exact year)

  • It's no mystery to me: there was a power-struggle between Christendom and Paganism, and a modified Christendom eventually won. It is still to this day a mix of Roman Paganism and modified Christian doctrines. The bible and other holy books were censored: there were originally 666 books, now there are 66. Christianity would not be recognizable to Jesus or Jews of his time. It's a fake. Have joy.

  • Is there a video about the truths of the council, what it is REALLY about?

  • Excellent videos, that are really and truthfully informative - thank you so much!

  • Oh No...Elaine Pagan.....the modern day Jezebel.....great vid as always David....
