Actually the war on women thing is a quote from Senator Mikulski, a Democrat and it is being spread mostly by Planned Parenthood: I got a phone call from them using it. This lady should really do more research.

We will see. Remember, McCain was no where near Obama at this time in the campaign. On April 13th 2008 Obama led by 5%. This time around, with all the negatives surrounding Romney during these highly contested GOP primaries, the fact he is even close to Obama in the polls is amazing. One poll has Romney up 2% another has it tied. That's interesting to me. I would say It looks like he might have a fighting chance.

At first I thought Hilary Rosen may have been either tired or emotional (which is when Dems usually get off script) when she said what she did about Ann Romney. But watching this video a second time, I don't think she was. Rather, Rosen's political analysis seems to be part of this make-believe world where being born with a uterus makes a person think x,y, and z about a given issue...that is, unless she is somehow 'privileged,' in which case this skewed political objectification doesn't apply.

I don't believe Hilary insulted Ann Romney or working mother's in general. The context was that Ann had not faced the challenges of having children and a job. It seems Ann was attempting to show solidarity with "working mothers". Hilary was trying to say that Ann cannot truly understand the challenges of a mother having two jobs, that is, working in and outside her home. If so, and if Ann never had a job outside and simultaneously while raising her children, I think Hilary was correct.
