best game ever i dont talk about just ep 1 i mean all hl2 games exept hl1 it was good but got to be a little boring after a while was really close to the end but i gave up so i just finishd hl2 again and bought ep 1 and 2 :P i have played trought ep 1 and 2 thought but it feels alot better when you buy the games you play : )

Episode 1 was just a set up to episode 2. Half life 2 was perfect, episode 1 was awesome, but just ok in comparison to Half Life 2, and episode 2 was brilliant compared to episode 1. I like to call Episode 1 & 2 (and hopefully 3, and hopefully not 4) essentially Half Life 3.

Gordon "sleep" 10 years, gman hired him and "freezed" him. after 10 years the combine take over the world. then gman had woken freeman. The vortigaunts got free because gordon killed nihilanth, and the vortigaunts help the humans now. thats because they are friendly in half-life 2, in hl1 they was slaves.
