  • Shukran Maha. I love your videos. But just a suggestion, its already hard to learn the language and get the pronunciation right, and the music makes it more difficult. Its an unnecessary distraction. Thanks

  • i'm an arab but my arabic is ugly. thanks maha, i learned a lot from ur video. pls make more arabic videos. thx :)

  • Shukran maha. I find your Arabiclessons easy to follow. I have been seeking the answer to this question, What is the prural and dual for God (Illah) in arabic? I hope you can enlighten me on this question.

  • You made a very complex system, easy to understand!! ♥ brilliant!! ♥

  • Why they created the rule for plural?! I will tell you Maha. We Arabs in the old times were speaking Arabic without even thinking about it. But when people who are not arabs started to use the languages for example to recite Quran or so, A Persian guy called Sebaweeh put some rules to help non-arabs to speak Arabic. And that is were these rules came from :)

  • Great clip. When are you uploading the video about Irregular Verbs ?

  • Umahat is transliterated wrong, you used capital H instead of h (I suppose capital H is used to represent the throaty H)

  • Please maha i didnt understand can you explain better. Thanx

U r right, What Maha should have said is that for masculine words, you cannot use the regular rule on each and every word, for most of the words u have to use their broken plural. But with feminine, you can use the regular rule with all words, but that doesn't mean that they don't have a broken plural.

    Example:

Ghurfa (room) : can become Ghuraf (broken) or Ghurfat (regualr)

Ghayma (cloud) : Ghuyoom (broken) or Ghaymat (regular)

Waraqa (paper) : Awraq (broken) or Waraqat (regular)
