This is a good example of a small puppy mill in Western WI. The dogs live out their lives on wire floors, no exercise, no knowledge of what grass or toys are. The females are bred at each heat and watch as each of their litters leave them for the pet store. Ironically at this farm the chickens roamed the barnyard while man's best friends were inmates in a dark shed. The sunlight in this video came from the open door. Design of these operations are such as to minimize labor and personal contact.....smart ergonomics for the miller, certainly not for the dogs. Urine and feces (that make it through the wire) accumulate beneath the cages, attracting flies and vermin. Lice and fleas are these dogs constant companions. Pet stores perpetuate this cruel "cottage industry" while shelters continue to bulge with discarded dogs. BTW puppies from this shed go to pet stores in the Wausau and Green Bay areas. This doesn't make sense, especially in America. Pass the word... ADOPT DON'T SHOP!!!
Look at the livestock tags hanging from their necks. How can this be allowed? Dogs are not livestock, they're companion animals. What's wrong with these people?
