How to Jailbreak iPhone, or iPod Touch 3.0 with redsn0w (Mac)

I will show you how to jailbreak your ipod touch 1g or 2g or iphone (2g 3g and 3gs)

****Do this at your own risk. I am not responsible if you mess something up on your ipod or iphone or your computer****

****also if you are on a mac power pc do not use this it only works with intel macs****

NOTE: i dont have an iphone so i can not show how to do this****

1. Download redsn0w for mac here: http://thebigboss.org/hostedfiles/redsn0w-mac_0.8.zip
Windows Here: http://thebigboss.org/hostedfiles/redsn0w-win_0.8.zip

or if you want the official torrents are here: http://thepiratebay.org/user/iphonedev/

2. Restore your device in itunes (no mandatory but makes you less likely to have problems)

3. once booted up open redsn0w.app and follow the directions in there

4. let it install everything then reboot

5. Congrats you are now jailbroken!

if you are on a mac get pwnagetool from the dev team it works alot better

its still saying waiting for reboot and the status bar hasnt increased. whyyyy

just unplug iphone hold home button and sleep/wake button at the same time till you see the apple logo and close redsn0w then try it again

the file i downloaded is for MAC OSX, but i have PC, will it work on PC, i didnt try it because didnt wanted to risk

this did not work for me , i unlocked my iphone using :

Unlock-iPhone org

it was really easy and it worked , i recommend it

First off, thanks a ton for this video untouchable!

I got this problem too, so when it was stuck at the reboot I disconnected the USB, waited 3-4 seconds and then plug it back in. It worked after that!
