Jialin Zheng, M.D., professor - Head of the Laboratory of Neuroimmunology and Neural Stem Cell Research and Associate Dean of Graduate Studies-International Affairs.

Dr. Zheng highlights work on how brain inflammation and macrophages affect the neuronal injury and repair process through neuronal stem cell research and also focus on new therapeutic targets. Through Graduate training and International Affairs, Dr. Zheng brings together UNMC graduate students with students from other countries to exchange their different research and experience that could produce long-term collaborations.
