Speed Racer PSX Review

A review of speed racer the videogamefor PSX (Ps1 for those who didn't know) The illumination feature really does work! Watch closely when button E is highlighted in red (you should see it in the top righthand corner) there is a way to get rid of that check sign at the start. At the end of every race, it says "listen to Racer X" when X does not even say a word! Subtitles come up instead. The frogger feature works underwater in both shortcuts in the medium race and the shortcut in the long race which happens to be the same shortcut as the last one in the medium race. Sorry about bad sound quality.

I've always wondered how the original Speed Racer game was played. Is there really no one that can catch up with the Mach 5? (Although I now realized you just came in 8th when I thought you passed about 15 cars at the start of the race.)

Now that I've seen it, I thik your right. Gameplay stinks, especially the Map Selection. Thanks for the upload.

I came 1st and I DID overtake about 15 cars in the race(5 where overlaped). sorry for proving you wrong. on the map you should see 2 in blue writing surronded by a yellow arrow.

You Can get more cars but you need a gameshark.

When you use a gameshark all the cars are faster than the Mach 5 exspecialy the GRX with a top speed of 248 mph.

Ah sry, it's just that was confused with the ending where it said you came in 8th. It must've been the time stats.
