  • Okhlopkov is right. 4th International was everything but a Socialist international. 5th International sounds like it acknowledges 4th one... I know its minor issue, but its very important on the left.

On the other hand, creating an international (whatever its name is), is something absolutely powerful in international politics, and we have still to see how it develops. At least Chavez finally showed his true face as a modern communist, guarding its revolution and spreading it...

  • VIVA LA QUINTA INTERNACIONAL!!!!

  • Brave man.

  • Furthermore, Trotsky was the most capable member of the original Bolshevik cadre, reorganizing the Red Army into a form that allowed them to crush the White Army and her foreign allies, and consolidate the country for the ill conceived communist experiment. "Learning from the Mistakes of the Past" would involve embracing Trotskyist revisionism, compromise and anti-authoritarianism more so then any other tradition, in regards to avowedly Communist movements.

  • "Revisionist Tendencies"? Trotsky observed that quality of life under Lenin's NEP was vastly superior to that endured under the "War Communism" that preceded it and the "Collectivization" that followed under Stalin and other hard liners. Communism requires cultural and economic characteristics that must be acquired under Capitalism, and cannot be rushed, namely steady industrialization. I am an anarchist myself, though feel these ideas should be more accurately represented.

Stop the madness of capitalism I mean.

  • Unified We Can Stop This Madness!

    Come, Comrades, to Victory!

  • @JonniDDR

Trotsky may have been a bit an egoist, but in focusing your criticism on him you make the left look bad. Surely you would rather have had him take power in 1928 than his rival.

  • Comrades we must end this petty disunity that plagues us.

  • @JonniDDR

Hahaha, I heard Chavez to positively mention Leon Trotsky many times but never Stalin. Down with Stalinism! Long live internationalism, Trotskism, Luxemburgism and anti-authoritian thought!

  • Down with the 4th international and the Trotskyite deviationism!
