I have "somewhere" a piece of film showing Class 45/6's on the line by Treloggan Industrial Estate which i took from my back garden in the Summer of 1984, must dig it out and put in on here, i spent many hours on the trains to Newquay whilst serving at RAF St. Mawgan.

I'm amazed to see a train at Newquay train station, a rare sight indeed!

This station and line is shit and needs a major upgrade there are too many speed restrictions because of poor upkeep by the rail companies and newqauys one platform means when long distance summer saturday trains run local services can,t.
Newquay is more than 50 miles from london though so as far as the government and the rail companies are concerned it does't count.
