Very well done

the only thing that describes this place is the feeling you get when you set foot on the heart shaped island and hear the music play, the ocean roar and find yourself at a childlike age again

Cape Breton should get the province of Nova Scotia to better advertise its lovely areas. It is not well enough known at all. There are some true gems within in the Cape Breton landscape. In the fall they have CelticColours musicfest and some of the best artists and musicians play in numerous venues all over the island. The province of Nova Scotia should be promoting that now - heavily! They offer some beautifl scenery and art in this area.

Yes - it is Rankin Family singing the second song. It's called "Leis An Lurgainn" in Gaelic. There is a re-mix version of it on their North Country CD. In English the song is called- Grey Dusk Of Eye (Portobello).

I love the music and the pictures. It reminds me of how fortunate I am to be standing on this island. Is it one of the Rankin sisters singing in the second song? Cape Breton is certainly the home of MY heart. <3

Well done.
For those of you who asked about the music...the first fiddle song is "Pleasures of Home" by the Cottars. The second song is "Leis An Lurgainn" or Boat Song by the Rankin Family. Sorry if I don't reply to messages..whenever I try my computer freaks out and I don't know if it sent, lol. Thanks for watching!
