98ta's 4.8 Truck Motor Swapped Trans Am With A "Not" Cam

1998 Trans Am that sent 2 rods threw the LS1 motor and had the 4.8 laying around and blah, blah, blah.

It all started out as a joke saying we had a aftermarket cam in it and then somehow it turned into a full blown argument and for the reason why I even uploaded a video of this car click here.

I don't care what anyone says, that car sounds like it has a choppy cam in it. I want a video of it idling smooth.

Since this video was recorded as a joke the 4.8 is out of the car and now it's a 5.3 block bored and stroked to a 347ci w/ 6.0 ported heads and nitrous cam. Car made like 35X hp on motor and 520 on 200 shot threw th350 and 10 bolt. Search my youtube and you will find it.

Owner is taking the 4.8 and placing it into a 79 Camaro and putting turbo on it.

Nice job on the "iron block" LS1, that thing is moving. It's funny how some 10 bolts can take serious abuse

This video is the 4.8 motor. Since this video was originally shot the 4.8 motor is pulled out of the Trans Am and in the process of being put in a 79 Camaro and turbo'd.

Now this car in this specific video is a 347 (the stroked 5.3) with a th350 & still using the 10 bolt rear. Hopefully that clears things up for you.
