http://www.thesecretsofbellydance.com I was on holiday in Marrakesh just recently and here is my first video. I performed this belly dance in the beautiful Riad Papillon. This is the first video in a series from Morocco...I hope you enjoy this and the rest in the series. Maysa

  • Very good interpretation of Warda (Asena), if I'm not mistaking this is Jillina choreography, I love the changes that you put in to it, especially the part with ayoub rhythm.. Your hand movements are very soft and smooth.. and you are really natural and relaxed in all movements, very Egyptian:)..What I like the most, is that you put in dance and your personality.. I enjoy it:))

Hello Maja, thank you for your encouraging words. I have not seen Jillina`s version of Warda. This dance was improvised. if there is a resemblance to Jillina I am in good company :-)

  • @Naruto4479 Of course she's not from Morocco....are you a total moron??? Did she say she was from Morocco...no, she is dancing IN Morocco. I thought all human blood was the same...but if it matters, which it obviously does to you, she is Scottish if you've ever heard of the place which I doubt.

  • soo is she really from morocco? because if she has an ounce of african blood in her she would be a better dancer-- I dought shes really from morocco.... you werent all that bad so i give you a 3 out of 5,

  • Brilliant performance. We really enjoyed having you at riad Papillon!

  • u r good dancer keep it up

  • I liked it .. a very nice dance.. there are a couple of Jillinas fav moves in there and she does floor work on the slow piece, I know I have seen a few other dancers who do that with there versions as well :) there was an accent towards the end I would like to have seen you hit with a move, i was waiting for it and it went without one :( but with improve these things don't always happen how we would like.

Lovely arm frames in there too :) .

  • @bellydancing123

O yeah, there is a similarity in some step combinations,I really thought that you used her choreography as a base and incorporate your own style into it,but if this is improvisation that makes you even greater dancer!:-)

  • u are very talented. loved it!:)
