@mariopatai If your perspective is from mainline Christianity, read Job. Satan wasn't this all-corrupting, absolute opposite to God. He worked through God to test Job's heart and soul.

The Christians say that HaSatan is the great deceiver. Being able to deceive honest, trusting, gentle folk wouldn't make one a very great deceiver. Now would it?
HaSatan is the great deceiver because he deceives the deceitful, making them believe he is evil, as they are.
He deceives Lucifer, the collective evil of the Euro-gentiles and their familiar god.
And insofar as he has deceived you, you know who and what you are.

i look at god the same way as you look at satan.i tried really hard to look at god as a loving god.yet i still cannot look at him or her or it as loving.sorry
