Finnish cosmetics brand Lumene turns 40. The history of Lumene cosmetics began in Kuhmoinen in 1970, on the shores of lake Lummenne which gave its name to the brand. Only a couple of years later, the Lumene brand was already leading the Finnish cosmetics market and has maintained its position ever since. The company behind these products is the Finnish LUMENE Oy, whose brands include the Cutrin hair care brand.
