Very grateful to all these videos uploaded by poor Apple users! Had tried an iPhone myself and found it unbelievably, horribly slow -- I shan't be buying one. At least, not until the problem is fixed.

Same issue on mine, I even restored it and didn't even install any apps. basically a clean slate and it does it ... wtf!

Put it in restore mode and restore it. Thats how mine got fixed.

yeah this is exactly the same as me.. it's so random that it even went from lag to normal AS i was typing out a text.. wtf? infuriating and impossible to troubleshoot as the people in the O2 shop are narbs and the Apple support section of their site is useless. annoying as hell! dunno what to do about it.

yeah.. updated it twice since updating to 2.0 and nothing has changed the lag.. dunno what to do but i can confirm that holding the home button for 5 seconds or so does usually fix the problem for the time being!
