  • @DearJelena The novel is a really good one. The film is good, as a separate film. Not as a film of the book. I found this a little to... Short... with the haunting. I found Greenes play on the supernatural rather good - but I do wonder whether Neil Jordan (who said he was uncomfortable with the supernatural element to the book) was possibly the right choice of director.

  • a great movie, i think we have all in 1 way or another been through the stages of this man's life, maybe not going with anothers wife but the feeling that are involved in love and loss

  • This was a Graham Green novel...what is really cool is that Green was great friends with J.R.R Tolken (lord of the rings) tolken was an atheist and after years of being so fianally said that Green had it right all along, and thus, the symbolizim of a higher power in lord of the rings.

  • No Bendrix, God will not leave you alone. It's only a matter of time until, like Sarah, you are His.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE

  • It brought tears to my eyes :'(

Amazing movie. There's no other like Ralph Fiennes.

  • The first 20 or so times we watched this movie, the last scenes were almost too hard to watch. At the cemetery, when Lance turned around and showed that his face, my wife and I both gasped. We were both boohooing all evening after that. This movie just seems way too real. One of my five favorites of all time.

  • wow, this is so sad, but absolutely worthwhile watching. i learned a lot of things from this. Thanks for sharing.
