Just prior to half time, FC concede a penalty, a goal and lose Richard Battersby to a straight red. Within a minute, a training ground move left Jake Cottrell with a nice slot home to equalise on the stroke of the half. With increasing pressure Mike Norton puts FC in front just after the hour mark and made it three ten minutes later after a terrific run by Lee Neville. Ben Jevons got one back with ten minutes to go, but the game was put out of reach of the Scholars when Matthew Wolfenden made it 4-2 in the dying minutes
