I'll definitley be getting the DVD, as for the Blu-Ray I don't have a player for it and personally i really don't think i need it,
as long as i can see what's happening on screen without any tracking problems like VHS had, I am happy with DVD quality.

I own the dvd and it works great 4 me & I have a ps3 its just I'm not paying 20-25$ on a 20-25 year old movie they should be cheaper.

Is your tongue pierced? No disrespect, I thought I saw something shiny.

blu ray will eventually replace DVDs altogether. but not all blu ray transfers are gonna be good. go to blu-ray.com read the reviews and make the best buy.

I have the VHS and I like the cover on that one.The one with the dead guy in a tux and carrying bloody flowers. They should have put that one on the directors DVD.I used to think this movie wasn't popular but found out it has a cult following.

This guy is great lmao you guys suck classic lol. but when i look forward into buying a movie now i want those extra features that dvd used to offer such as the commentary and so fourth. now i do like blue ray because the picture is wayyy better and now they offer the deleted scenes and such, Im just dissapointed that they are taking all the goods out of dvd's and into the new stuff. hd dvds didn't last long so how long will blue ray last until the new technology takes its place?

@wesvance I don't know what part of Kentucky you're in but over here in Northern kentucky the prices aren't close at all. I do want to get Chow yun-Fat's The Killer on Bluray for sure but it's about $30 right now so....
They're using Cheap as shit cases with no artwork insert or dvd disc art to save on cost and drive you to Bluray, the least they could do is take a little fucking pride in their products packaging. As far as the whole bluray craze goes though, I'm not jumping on it. What the fuck am I supposed to go out and repurchase for $30 a piece all the great movies I already own? I'm just not that stupid, that's flat out idiotic for one, and two it's just playing right into their little money scheme.

@fatsachs Blu-Ray and DVD are basically priced the same now, there are no such thing as $30 Blu-Rays unless you go to FYE...where DVD is priced about $30 too!
