@smcuriel there's nothing wrong with reporting problems. but i have caught lara logan in several lies in some videos regarding afghanistan. when that happens, yes it's propaganda. you must report facts only. and the truth.
-
many of lara logan's reports always make the u.s. look bad and the taliban look good.

You could solve the hospitals waste treatment using compost toilets and living machines - wouldn't even cost anything - it's all about design

@Islandersrule66 What is there to boycott? hahahahaha

Boycott Egypt for what they did to Lara

jbryant13: god bless your son and the work these kids are doing -- neat web site BTW
despite of that as you can see there are problems - plenty of them - the 60 yo truck and the hole in our national debt don't seem to fit on the same picture.
given the two extremes: can't we just send the people involved to jail for treason?

Damn that FREE PRESS! Always upsetting the apple cart by looking for 'other' stories. Why can Lara Logan just get on board and stick with the play sheet from Fox news!! Too much freedom, as Bush would say.
As for your son, I'm certain he is doing great work, but he can't be everywhere all the time. Why not acknowledge that there are problems so that they can be corrected, rather than dismissing the misery of the people in the report as propoganda. Where is your faith based sense of compassion?

"the reporter on the scene recording the events" is biased and reporting only the worst. She and SEE-BS have an agenda and good news doesn't fit into it. These Afghani people are having to start from scratch as the Taliban took this country and it's culture back to the stone age.
Google "Afghan schools closed by threats" to see all the wonderful things the Taliban is doing for these people.

"Slick"? - That's not an Army , my 20 year old, E-4 son built that to show his parents his work. Take your partisan blinders off and watch the video on his site - see people who are proud of their work and Afghans who appreciate it.
If you had bothered to look at the "Humanitarian Aid" page of the site you would have read that St. Thomas Episcopal Parish and Telluride School are organizations in the US that donated items to the Afghans (which my son's unit is responsible for distributing.)
So anytime someone reports negativley about Iraq Afghanistan and George Bush then it's propaganda? Well I havn't seen much negative stuff on these issues at all anywhere else, other than Democracy Now. What's wrong with reporting problems, and where things are going wrong, don't we want things to change for the better? How is that going to happen if the poeple don't know about it, ignoring the problems doesn't make them go away, wake up, things are bad and getting worse.
