Us Airways landing in Charlotte

US Airways A319 landing in Charlotte. On route from MROC Costa Rica.It was a pretty shaky approach. We were coming in on a tilt. The pliot put the wheels and flaps down at the last second. It was crazy! ENJOY.

hey i have a question. how do people film this if they tell you that you have to put away all electronic devices??

there is a special way. th eflight attendants will tell you to stow all electronic devices, then they will go back to there seat for the rest of the landing. when they go back to there seat, you wip out your camera and they wont notice

yes they have 5 destinations out of detroit leading to there big hubs which you can take a connecting flight to hundreds of places. Out of Detroit, they fly to Charlotte, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Washington-Reagan

Not seeing anything last minute about the video which is great by the way, I believe it is normal for the Airbus. Or course if you are used to boeing aircraft which begin flap extension on downwind than it does seem last minute.

What I see is Flaps 1 is selected at Video start (Flaps 1 on Airbus during approach only the leading edge slats extend not trailing edge flaps). Gear down at 1:52 then Flaps 3 at 2:15 then Full at 2:35.

I remember I had a bad landing with Lufthansa from Oslo to Munich, when I was changin flight to Charlotte, it was crazy.
