Does your ride need a boost in horsepower? Let Marv the Mechanic show you how to install a K & N Cold Air Intake Kit! This is the first of a two-part series on how to assemble(and I use that word loosely) the kit, and next week, we'll show you how to install it...on ANY vehicle.

Hey guys. This is Andy with StreetSideAuto.com and today we are going to take a look at EBC brakes. EBC is a great company out of England. They put a lot of R&D into their brakes so that they can make sure you get the specific type of brake you need for your application. But it can be kind of difficult to determine what kind of brakes you need. EBC has color coded them. And today we are going to take a look at which color is right for your vehicle. Alright, first up we got Ultimax. Now these are EBC's OEM replacement brakes. They are not great for the track or for racing. But what they are good for is casual daily driving. Next up, we have Greenstuff. Now, Greenstuff is not suitable for the track but it will give you a little bit more bite for an aggressive driving style. It's a step up from the Ultimax. With Greenstuff you are going to experience a more comfortable pedal feel and low to medium dust. You can get it in 2000 series for small low horsepower cars or 6 or 7000 series for small truck and SUV's. Next we have Redstuff. Redstuff is EBC's most versatile and most popular brake pad. It's great for the street but, unlike Greenstuff, it's capable of handling the stresses of the track. It's known for its extremely low dust output and it's designed for larger higher horsepower performance vehicles. The most aggressive EBC pad you can find here at StreetSide is Yellowstuff. It was designed for the track, but it's suitable for the street. It works best when it gets hot so the more stress the pad is under the better the grip will be. For this reason, EBC made one for large trucks and SUV's. Now Yellowstuff is not low on dust, but on the track you won't care. Well I hope that clears things up about the different color EBC brake pads. If you have any questions, give us a call or visit StreetSideAuto.com.
